77″ 8K OLED META Technology
LG Display’s ‘META Technology’ is the newest OLED panel technology that follows the second-generation ‘EX Technology’, which utilizes deuterium and personalized algorithms to enhance the panel’s brightness by up to 30%. Based on META Technology, OLED TV panels produce ultimate picture quality and ‘Natural Reality.’ META Technology comprises a ‘Micro Lens Array’ that maximizes light emissions from the OLED panel and ‘META Booster’, a brightness-enhancing algorithm. The combination of META Technology and 8K resolution also provides groundbreaking TV experience in terms of brightness and clarity. With over 33 million self-emissive pixels, the 77-inch 8K OLED delivers even more detailed color expression and perfect black for every scene.
65″ 4K OLED META Technology
For the 65-inch 4K OLED, the META Technology achieves peak brightness of 2,100nits (based on HDR), which is 60% brighter compared to existing OLED TV panels of the same size while also achieving the industry’s highest mark.
45″ Ultra Wide Gaming OLED META Technology
With the new META Technology, LG Display is expanding its reach into gaming monitors. The 45-inch WQHD OLED is the embodiment of the company’s pursuit of ‘immersive reality’, proving a complete, immersive experience while letting gamers take full control with lightning-fast response times.
The 45-inch WQHD OLED offers ultimate gaming bliss with its perfect black image quality in any environment, specialized technology to eliminate screen glare and an Ultrawide form factor that allows users to see information outside of field of view.
27″ QHD Gaming OLED META Technology
The 27-inch QHD OLED boasts the optimal display size for the competitive Esports genres such as FPS, MOBA, and RTS. Instant control feedback is made possible due to its response time of 0.03ms. And its refresh rate of 240Hz without motion blur helped notch the highest VESA CMR certification tier of 13,000. All in all, the 27-inch QHD OLED offers a smooth, clean picture without having to use the overdrive function.
Micro Lens Array (MLA)
The Micro Lens Array technology is uniform pattern in the layer that includes tens of billions of micro lenses that reduces the light loss from internal reflection to further improve brightness and enhances energy efficiency by 22% compared to that of the same brightness. LG Display’s 77-inch 4K OLED TV panel based on META Technology has a total of 42.4 billion micro lenses, 5,117 micro lenses per pixel, which work to emit even the lost light due to internal reflections to produce the clearest pictures.
LG Display’s other patented feature, META Booster, is an algorithm that precisely analyzes each scene’s brightness information in real time, bringing luminance and true color expression to another level along with richer HDR expression.
